中文摘要 | 姚斯的「接受美學」崛起於六十年代中、末期,在七十年代隨著其論文的發表而 倍受矚目。它又稱為「康斯坦茨學派」。姚斯美學告訴我們,假使我們想建立一部新的藝術 史,或一種新的藝術知識,應當以當下的藝術作品為思維起點,重構過去與當下之歷史前後 關係,重建隱藏於作品內部的訴求,重建我們的藝術認知。這樣的藝術史或藝術知識,可以 避免我們只局限在作品本身或作者的理念,也可避免在審美時趨向愉悅的文本閱讀。 姚斯以接受者(讀者或觀者)為審美主體,其理論在於透視接受者、作品、作者及藝術 史四者的辯證條件,它屬於一種藝術詮釋學,它最主要的精神,是在理解與詮釋中,融入自 己所處的時空及文化思潮,自我教化而提出見解。這種極端彰顯接受者自我教化的審美理論, 鮮明地異於現代時期的阿多諾美學。 |
英文摘要 | Aesthetics of the Reception proposed by Hans Robert Jauss was formed in the mid and late 60s, and became popular as Jauss published many essays discussing this theory. It is also called Constance School. The main theory of this school is that we should reconstruct the historical relation between the present and the past, rediscover the hidden internal appeals, and rebuild our recognition of art by using contemporary art works as the starting point of our thinking. History or knowledge obtained from this approach can help us view a particular work beyond the scope of the work itself or its author's own idea. This approach also enables us to avoid pleasure reading of the text while criticizing any work. The subject of Jauss' aesthetics is the receiver (i.e., the reader or the viewer). This theory is grounded on the dialectics among the receiver, the work, the author, and the hisotory. Jauss' theory belongs to the school of Artistic Hermeneutics. Its essence is to mingle the time and culture where we are in with our comprehension and interpretation toward a particular work, and then to form our view about this work. This theory, which emphasizes the receiver's self formation in aesthetics, is apparently different from the modern Adorno Aesthetics. |
