| 英文摘要 | Molten steel temperature is a very important part in the continuous casting process. The superheat of tundish must be carefully controlled to achieve high productivity and quality. For the reasons above, in November 1995, the first Plasma Tundish Heater system (PTH) in Taiwan was introduced at China Steel Corporation's (CSC) No.1 Bloom caster. Although initial operation was not successful. Excellent operating and quality results have been achieve over the pass 12 months after some equipments were revised. After applying the system, it has been justified that the tundish temperature and bloom quality can be steadily controlled by Plasma Tundish Heater. |
