中文摘要 | 5XXX系鋁合金中鈉、鈣含量過高時很容易引起熱軋邊裂問題,這些微量雜質之去 除方法以旋轉攪拌除氣製程最為適當。本研究透過水模實驗,探討這種製程氣—液相界面之 質傳反應現象。研究結果顯示提高轉子轉速對反應速率之提高較為有效,即吹入氣泡可以得 到更微細、更均勻的分佈,而增加氣—液相間之反應界面積。但在高轉速操作下,液面容易 發生漩渦捲渣問題,為改善此種現象,本研究開發二支轉子不同轉速之操作方式可避免液面 產生過度的擾動及漩渦現象。經由本研究結果,現場對5XXX系鋁湯進行除鈣處理之製程改 善,己使除鈣效率大為提升。 |
英文摘要 | The presence of sodium and calcium in 5XXX aluminum alloys often cause edge cracks of hot rolled sheets. These trace elements are usually removed from aluminum melts by the rotor-stirred degassing process. A water model has been developed to simulate the gas-liquid mass transfer phenomena in this study. The results show that a higher rotor speed is more effective in increasing the reaction efficiency due to the concomitant decrease in bubble size. While the rotor speed continues to rise, the surface becomes increasingly turbulent. A modified operation, involving higher rotational speed of the first rotor than that of the second rotor, has been developed to enhance the degassing rate, while preventing surface turbulence. By following the modified operation to actual plant trials, derived in this study, the removal efficiency of calcium from 5XXX aluminum melt has been successfully improved. |
