中文摘要 | 本文研究目的在於探討男女國中生互取綽號之方式及原因。本文中應用問卷調查方式收集學生所使用之綽號,加以分類並以社會語言學之理論來探討同性間及異性間互取綽號之思考模式。在本文中經由資料收集與分析結果,將取綽號之思考方式歸類為五種模式:即姓名之發音、外貌及外型、日常行為、個人習慣及流行詞語。另外並發現由於男女性別之不同,在取綽號時也顯示出語言之差異性,通常女性語言處於較次級或被動之地位,而男性語言則趨於較主動地位及具攻擊性。 |
英文摘要 | This is a quantitative investigation of the use of nicknames between male and female students in a junior high school in Taipei. The students who are given nicknames are asked to answer 5 items on a questionnaire concerning the reasons why and when he or she got the nicknames and write down the persons (especially male or female) who gave the nicknames for him or her. Then, the persons who give the nicknames to their classmates are asked to have an interview face by face with the researcher to tell the reasons why they choose the nickname for their friends. While the addressees' sex, age, occupation and familiarity with the addressers' are controlled as independent variables, the Ss choices of the address forms (nicknames )indicating their degree of closeness to the addressees are calculated to study the relationship between sex and linguistic performance. After the data having been collected and analyzed, five types of nicknames could be grouped. According to these types, this paper is going to find out the differences between teenage boys and girls from their psychological and physical development view and show the reasons why they use these nicknames for their classmates. |
