中文摘要 | 一般而言,產品成本的75%∼90%於設計階段時即已決定,因此如何將加工性及裝 配性因素考量有效地融入於設計理念,藉此同時滿足成本、產能、品質及製造需求, 向來為設計者所積極追求的目標。就易於製造性設計(Design For Manufacturing, DFM) 的觀念而言,自1960年代被提出後,即不乏研究及實際開發之成功案例。然而易於裝 配性設計(Design For Assembly, DFA)卻顯然地並未受到對等的待遇。自動化裝配領域 長久以來,雖吸引了多數研究及技術開發者的興趣,研究者從系統需求、開發可行性 或整合性需求等提出了諸多的法則,而技術開發者卻往往宥於現實因素而著重於技 術、人力或成本的考量,終究難免與研究者所提出之法背道而馳,因此如何有效整 合研究者所提出之理念,進而落實於實際之技術開發,係自化裝配領域之一重要課 題。 本研究以一實際開發成果案例--嬰兒車扶手關節自動化裝配系統,分析倘能於產 品設計及自動裝配系統開發階段,融入易於裝配性設計理念,將有助於實際解決自動 化裝配系統開發成本及品質的考量。文中除了闡述整合性設計之重要性外,亦探討一 般易於裝配性設計之法則。以本研究而言,於設計及開發階段中所引用之法則包括維 持裝配方向一致性、選擇穩固基座、選擇易於結合方式及利用導銷導引結合等。最後, 證明透過易於裝配性設計理念所開發之自動裝配系統,除了實際有效提高產能外,亦 能兼顧提升產品品質及降低裝配成本的目的。 |
英文摘要 | It has been identified that 75% to 90% of total product cost is determined when a design is released to production. Therefore, the objective of the designer is to find a way to manage a product to be designed for the optimum manufacturing cost, the optimum capacity, the optimum achievement of quality, and the optimum manufacturing productivity. As early as the 1960's, design for manufacturing (DFM) has been proposed and has captured the attention of numerous researchers. Lost of researchers have addressed a different aspects to perform the design activities and found to be useful. Design for assembly (DFA) was provided by Boothroyd and Dewhurst in 1983. During the years, many design guidelines have been stated as directive that act to both stimulate creativity and show the way to good design for assembly. After all, the designers didn't find those guidelines easy or straightforward while developing an automatic assembly system. This research utilizes the systematic analysis and design concept to the planning, design, and development stages for an automatic assembly system. Handling joint, adopted as one of the key components, of baby cart-seat is chosen as an example to demonstrate it. The automatic assembly system developed in this research considers the necessary assembly processes, product characteristics, assembly techniques, and design for assembly concept. Through this development, the production capacity can be improved and the fraction defective can be decreased too. The reduction of operation time and unit cost are also achieved simultaneously. |
