英文摘要 | The impact response of moving vehicles on bridges is an important factor that must be considered in the design of bridges. Research on this problem dates from the mid-nineteenth century. Early studies of vehicle-bridge interaction problems concentrated primarily on the impact response of simply supported bridges traversed by simple vehicle models and on the development of clo3ed-form analytical solutions. Recently. due to the widespread use of hi- h-performance computers, more sophisticated vehicle and bridge models have been developed and included in the analysis of bridge response. Partly enhanced by the operation of high speed railroads worldwide, the dynamic response of rail bridges is receiving, much more attention from researchers than before. For trains moving, at high speeds, the riding. comfort of passengers. in addition to the bridge impact response, should be considered. In this paper, some remarks are made on the effects of resonance and cancellation on the response of simple beams under the moving action of high speed trains. Moreover, a procedure is summarized for deriving, a vehicle-bridge interaction (VBI) element that is suitable for treating train-bridge interactions. Finally, application is made of the VBI element to analysis of a simply supported tapered beam traversed by two high speed trains, and the comfort of passengers is computed as well. |
