英文摘要 | The deflection of T-shape structure specimen for furniture joint strength test was produced by both shear force and pure bending moment of the cantilever beam. Therefore, the shear deflection should be considered. According to the derivation by virtual work theory, comparison with the specification of simple supported beam, and calculation by computer program, the result shown that the shear deflection could be negligible when length of the cantilever beam was over 7 times of its thickness. |
