英文摘要 | Recent progresses in biotechnology research and utilization in the forest and forest products industry are reviewed. The application ranges of biotechnology expand rapidly while the techniques of cell fusion have reached practical stages such as using cell transfusion or genetic engineering processes to produce high quality wood, and at the meantime means of developing superior spe superior species. Moreover through screening of fast growing individuals, large quantities of superior seedlings can also be obtained. Conversion of biomass resources by physico-chemical means is to degrade and dissolve hemicelluloses from wood and transform them into useful substances. Biological and chemical conversions of wood substances by microorganisms such as using separate lignin to cellulose and hemicelluloses, those can be used as materials either saccharified to become fine chemical for further utilization or utilized directly. |
