英文摘要 | Stream terraces are wide-spread in the Liwuchi and their altitudes are various from one another. Several of them contain very thick gravel deposits. For the purpose of their correlation, sedimentological analysis was successfully applied. From the lithofacies analysis, their depositional processes include fluvial, sediment gravity and hyper-concentration flows, and the resultant products may correspond to braided river, dam and landslide deposits, respectively. Three sedimentation stages can be distinguished. The first stage was dominated by fluvial flow which produced very thick gravel of more than 160m; the second stage, by a dam deposit, even thicker than the first one and its age is 2400±40 yr BP. The third one was also characterized by a dam deposit. At least four times of channel change were recorded in the Liwuchi. In the lower reach, we observed erosional type terraces that are formed by sudden increase of stream erosion caused by partial collapse of dams. |
