英文摘要 | The objective of this study was to compare the applicability of different growth models to growth processes of individual tree basal area. Seven growth functions were applied in individual tree basal area growth of thinned Chamaecyparis formosensis plantations, namely, the Schumacher, the Mitscherlich, the Logistic, the Gompertz, the Richards, the Modify-Weibull and the Schnute, respectively. After examined Sy.x by the t-test for paired comparisons, the results show that the three- parameter Richard's growth function has a greater flexibility than the others. |
