英文摘要 | It is widely accepted that technological innovation embodied in new products and processes is a major source of economic growth, and it is clear that growth is an essential prerequisite to an improvement in the standard of living of most of the world's population. Since innovation is so important to firms and human beings, the field of innovation process research has been the property of many disciplines and points of view, namely, economics, political science, sociology, psychology, and management. This paper would review the innovation process literature related to marketing and then evaluate the literature from a metatheoretical perspective. The foci of this paper are: concept of innovation, types of innovation, innovation process, sources of innovation, and success/failure factors in innovation. Finally, conclusions and suggestions to future research would be made. |
