中文摘要 | 豬隻人工授精仍是現階段進行豬種改良及增進生產效率最實用有效之方法,二十 餘年來,在本省之推展隨著養豬產業之轉型,大型養豬場已有 50 %以上之普及率,惟戶數 佔 90 %以上之中、小型養豬場 (1,000 頭規模以下 ),由於經營管理等因素,人工授精之 普及率仍不及 20 %,致全省仍飼養有五萬九千餘頭之種用公豬,就生產效率資源而言,實 屬浪費。目前經由農政系統設置之兩處豬精液供應中心,雖已建立其良好的營運模式,卻僅 能發揮「點」的效用。本文乃就現況之問題分析,從豬種之檢定供應體制,將人工授精專用 公豬區分為作種豬選育及肉豬生產二種不同之用途需求;精液供應亦可區分為種豬檢定站專 屬之精液供應中心及屬各生產體系下之精液供應站,由點擴散到面,以落實未來四年「提升 養豬產業競爭力」計畫項下之該項目標。 |
英文摘要 | Artificial insemination of pigs is a major method for the improvement of pig genetics and the increasing of production efficiency at present. For the past twenty years in Taiwan, 50% of large-scale farms already applied the technique of artificial insemination along with the transformation of pig industry sectors. But the mid-scale and small-scale (1,000 heads less) farms applied the technique of artificial insemination to their current management in a rate of 20% of farms or even less. Consequently, there are 59,000 head or more boars raised, which indicated that a less efficient status occurred in production efficiency as compared to the usage of production sourccs. Two centers for artificial insemination wre set up to supply fresh pig semen under the system of governmental regulations. Although the operation system is in a good condition, but this is a site for extension only. The text includes that identification of problems in relation to the application of artifical insemination, and establishment of a system including of the supplement system of tested boars, into two groups for breeding stocking and hog production respectively due to their different requirements, and semen supplement also be classified into centers for performance tested boars and statioms for hog production of pig farms. Under the proposed system, the usage of artificial insemination would be applied to all farms in order to achieve the goal of the four-year project "Rising Competition Ability of Hog Industry". |
