英文摘要 | Reinforced soil techniques are commonly employed for stabilization of steep slopes and walls. However, for stabilization of high and steep natural slopes, the required excavation area often becomes excessively large and renders the technique impractical. This paper describes the design and construction of a 39.5 meter high retaining wall. The wall was constructed with a combination of Multi-nailings and a soil reinforcement technique. The construction method eliminated the need for excessive excavation, hence made the project feasible. The result was a harmonious green-face soil retaining wall completed in a very timely manner. |
