中文摘要 | 在專科學校擔任英文教師五年多以來,作為發現學生們常犯一些習慣性的錯誤, 特別在學習各類問句的時候,他(她)們會受到中文問句結構及字句順序的影響,而寫出或 說出 " 中文式 " 的英文問句。為了更深入了解學生們實習英文問句之困境,作者擬以本論 文首先探討中英文問句結構的差異。進而以各類問句組成的實例,綜合分析中國學生學習英 文問句時所可能面臨的問題。本文最後一部份,作者將就目前臺灣教導英文問句的傳統教學 技巧(大部份是文法翻譯法),加以評析其成效的利幣之處,並且補充一些溝通式的教學方 法及教材,以期改善傳統教學法成效之不足,盼望本文可提供其他英文教師一些文法課程教 學之參考。 |
英文摘要 | As an English teacher in the junior college for more than five years, the author finds out the fact that many students are inclined to make some similar mistakes. Especially when they are learning a variety of question sentences, they will write or speak "Chinese-like* English questions, owing to the influences of Chinese question formation and word order rules. Therefore, the author first would like to investigate the differences between Chinese and English question formation in this paper. Then, by giving some examples of various question sentences both in Chinese and in English, she will predict the potential problems facing the Chinese learners. In the last section, she will evaluate the weaknesses and strengths of the traditional teachings approaches (mainly Translation Grammar method) to teach grammar in Taiwan. Besides, she wil also include some other communicative teaching techniques and materials with a view to making progress the lack of the traditional teaching approaches. Hopefully, this paper can give some suggestions to other English teachers for teaching grammar courses, focusing on question formation to the Chinese learners in Taiwan. |
