英文摘要 | The No.1 Hot Strip Mill of China Steel Corporation was started to erect in 1979 and operate in 1983. Due to constant impact and a great amount of high chloride cooling water used at rolling line, wear and corrosion of the facilities became very serious. In order to meet the requirement of high yield and to face the severe competition of the steel market, the down time of the mill must be reduced to a minimum. Therefore a lot of maintenance engineers have devoted themselves to the improvement and revamping of the equipment since 1988 to achieve the yearly capacity of 4 million metric tons. Diagnosis and analysis were employed to alter the constitution of the equipment to extend its service life. After a long term of effort, the goal was completed successfully. This paper describes in detail our improvement experience of the major equipment of the No.1 HSM. |
