英文摘要 | The dynamic stability of spinning beam subject to flow fluid and axial force is investigated in this paper. It can be used to model deep-hole drilling tools such as gundrill, BTA and ejector drill. The objectives of present study are as follows: (1) To derive the equation of motion which are formulated using Euler beam theory and the assumed mode method. The equations of motion are transformed to the standard form of an eigenvalue problem for determining the natural frequencies for various axial forces and flow velocities of fluid. (2) To investigate critical stability of spinning subject to flow fluid and axial force. It is found that the extent of unstable regions increases with increasing spinning speeds and with decreasing moments of inertia ratios with respect to critical flow velocity and buckling loads. The results shown are significant for the understanding of the dynamic behaviour of the spinning beam and hellpful for the design of deep-hole drilling shafts. |
