中文摘要 | 目的:在X射線曝露下稀土製光屏較傳統藍感光屏(Calcium tungstate,CaCO4)在取像上可降低輻射劑量。Gd是綠感光屏的主要成份之一,胸部X光取像是一種簡單但重要的簡查,一般來說,稀土製光屏較傳統藍感光屏在取像上,可降低輻射量,我們的目的是建立我們自己的資料,同時比較藍、綠感光屏取像的差異性,並遵循ALARA原則來降低全民輻射劑量。 材料及方法:藉隨機取樣,112位成人以Gd製綠感光屏一片組合(F/F),及113位成人以 CaCO4 藍感光屏一片組合(K/D)分別攝取胸部正位像做一比較。片子品質以楔形階梯-光密度曲線來評估。有4位因片子品質不佳或資料不全而被刪除。在F/F系統,評估良好品質者95份,可接受者17份;在K/D系統,良好品質44份,可接受者65份。皮膚所受之平均劑量是以游離腔依據三組不同胸廓厚度偵測而來。 結果:在F/F系統,曝露條件所使用之mAs分別平均為1.3、2.1及2.6;在K/D系統則為2.1、3.2及5.2。假體所受之平均曝露劑量在前者為5.75mR、10.38mR、22.6mR,在後者為9.25mR、18.63mR、38.4mR。從楔形階梯-光密度曲線分析,F/F系統受到mAs因素的影響較少。 結論:胸像使用綠感光(稀土)屏一片組合較不易失敗且可降低輻射劑量。 |
英文摘要 | PURPOSE: The rare-earth screens permits reduction in X-ray exposure related to conventional blue emitting screen (calcium tungstate, CaCO4). Godolinium oxysulfide (Gd) is the main constituent of green screen. Chest radiography is a simple and major examination. Our goal is to set up our data, compare the screens, follow the ALARA principle in order to reduce the radiation dose of general population. MATERIAL AND METHODS: By randomized selection, 112 adults were PA chest radiography with Gd screen-film combination (F/F) and 113 adults with CaCO4 screen-film (K/D). Film quality was assessed by the step-wedge optical density curve. Four films were excluded: 1 due to poor quality; 2 incomplete data. In F/F system we had good quality film in 95, acceptable quality in 17. In K/D system, 44 were good and 65 acceptable. The average skin dose was detected by ionization chamber with 3 different groups of chest wall thickness. RESULTS: The average mAs was 1.3, 2.1 and 2.6 in F/F system and 2.1, 3.2 and 5.2 in K/D system. The mean exposure dose was 5.75 mR, 10.38mR, 22.6mR in the former and 9.25mR, 18.63mR, 38.4mR in the latter. From the step wedge-optical density curve, F/F system seems less influence by mAs factor. CONCLUSION: Chest film with green (rare-earth) screen-film combination gets less radiographic failure rate and reduce exposure dose. |
