英文摘要 | Owing to the necessity for air pollution control and for diversification of energy resources for vehicles, the research and development of Electric Vehicle (EV) is nowadays the worldwide trend. Most EVs used at present make use of lead storage batteries. However, their performance could not fundamentally be elevated. Although several kinds of high performance batteries are in study, on account of their high cost, they are still on test stages. Concurrently with the promotion of EV development and commercialization of high performance batteries is also indispensable. This material exceptionally introduces the present situation of R&D of EV in Japan, putting the point on the discussions of batteries, chargers and the application of echo station (quick charging station). |
