英文摘要 | During drop forging die design, the main purpose of fuller tools design is to elongate raw material (billet). On the other side, the purpose of rolling tools design is to gather metals for increasing the cross area of billets. As a conclusion, the purposes of both fuller and rolling tools are to provide better volume distribution of subsequent forging operation (sush as moulding and finishing) and to make sure about more perfect result, this also means to fill more easily, metal flows more smoothly and the quality of forging parts will be better. Therefore, how to use the speciality of fuller and rolling tools seems to be the critical fact to the quality of forging parts for the designers of drop forging dies. |
