英文摘要 | The ETS system is a specialized chemistry analyzer designed and produced by the syva company for the EMIT drugs of abuse assay. Because of the very rigid assay protocol for the EMIT d.a.u. opiate reagent of the ETS system, modification of the reagents is difficult. We have successful modified(di-luted) the EMIT d.a.u. amphetamine/methamphetamine reagent using the ETS system recently. In this report, we have diluted the Syva opiate reagent four-fold and successfully run the assay using the ETS system. The reaction rates of the modified reagents were reduced to 40% that of the original protocols. The within run precision(%CV)for the original and the modified protocols are all less than 2% Of 118 samples screened with both the original and the modified protocols, there are no discordant results. In conclusion, we are able to save 75% of the reagents with little compromise on assay performance. (Tzu Chi Med J 1997;169-174) |
