中文摘要 | 本研究主要目的在於探討我國金融業資訊系統發展的實際情況。經由事先問卷的準備與九家公司資訊主管的晤談以搜集有關資料。研究結果顯示,所有的公司評估所使用的資訊系統。評估的時機主要在於系統功能尚未完全裝設妥當。高階主管、資訊部門主管及系統開發人員均參與系統評估活動。。 前 6 項最常被使用的評估標準分別為:「使用者對系統的滿意程度和態度」、「資訊的正確性」、「內部控制」、「系統對使用者在其工作上的影響」、「資訊的時效性」與「系統對成本節省的影響」。 前5項最重要的效益及用途依次為:「評估及修正系統控制」、「驗證已設置的系統是否合乎系統需求」、「提供公司主管廿寺系統有效性的可信度」、「驗證系統經濟效益」、「做為系統開發人員改進系統的依據」。前3項最有可能阻礙系統評估的原因是:「沒有一套共識評估準則可使用」、「缺少合格的人員能對已設置的系統做評估」、和「沒有合適的方法可評估資訊系統」。 |
英文摘要 | In order to ensure quality computing, the evaluation processes of IS (Information Systems) should be systematically conducted and regularly reevaluated. The main objectives of this study are to identify the current practices for information systems development of financial organizations in Taiwan. One survey instrument was used to evaluate the process of in-formation systems development through personal interviews Eight cate-gories of research questions were studied. Nine IS managers of financial organizations were interviewed. Results show that all of interviewers are performing evaluation of their installed information systems. They perform evaluation at a time when the system is not fully functioning. The top management, IS managers and system development team are the major participants in system evaluation. The top six most frequently evaluation criteria are: user satisfaction and atti-tudes towards system accuracy of information, internal control, system's impact on users and their jobs, timeliness and currency of Information, and net operating cost-saving of the system. The five most important perceived benefits and uses are:to evaluate and refine the system controls, to verify that the installed system meets system requirements, to provide feedback to system development personnel, to report system effectiveness to management, to verify economic payoff of system, and to provide feedback to system development personnel. Three most likely reasons to inhibit evaluations are: no appropriate methodologies available for evalu-ating IS, shortage of qualified personnel available to evaluate IS, and no agreement on set of criteria and measurement used for evaluation. |
