英文摘要 | Peanuts of Taiwan No. 11 (TN11), Tainan Selection NO.9 (TNS9), PI240553 and PI203396 were sown on the fifth, March 1993 (spring crop) and on the twenty sixth, August 1993 (fall crops) in CHia-yi for investigating the influences of different sowing seed number on agronomic characters and peanut yield. The split plot design with three replications was used. The row length was 5m and each plot contained fours rows. The spacing rate was 35 X 10 cm. Different cultivars were used as the main plot and different sowing seed numbers (one seed/hole, two seeds/hole and three seeds/hole) were used as the sub-plot. Results were summarized as follows:1. In the spring crop season, no.of mature pods/plant, no of non-mature pods/plant, no.of total pods/plant, weight of pods/plant, weight of seeds/plant, no. of seeds/plant, weight of 100 seeds, first grade seed ratio, second grade seed ratio, pod yield/plot and seed yield/plot were significantly influenced by different cultivars. As for the no. of mature pods/plant, no. of non-mature pod/plant, no. of total pods/plant, weight of pods/plant, weight of seeds/plant, no. of seeds/plant, weight of 100 seeds, shelling percentage, first grade seed ratio, second grade seed ratio, third grade seed ratio, pod yield/plot and seed yield/plot were significantly influenced by different sowing seed number treatments. Besides, different cultivars and sowing seed number significantly interacted on the no. of mature pods/plant, no. of non-mature pod/plant, no. of total pods/plant, weight of 100 seeds, first grade seed ratio, second grade seed ratio and third grade seed ratio.2. In the fall crop season, no. of non-mature pods/plant, weight of pods/plant, weight of seeds/plant, weight of 100 seeds, shelling percentage, first grade seed ratio, second grade seed ratio, third grade seed ratio, pod yield/plot and seed yield/plot were significantly influenced by different cultivars. Different sowing seed numbers, like the spring crop, had significant influences on all the agrononic characters and peanut yield. Besides, different cultivars and sowing seed number significantly interacted on the no. of mature pods/plant, no. of seeds/plant, first grade seed ratio, second grade seed ratio, third grade seed ratio, pod yield/plot and seed yield/plot.3. Under different sowing seed number treatments, the peanut yield of spring crop was higher than that of fall crop. Two seeds per hole and three seeds per hole treatments had higher yields both in spring crop and fall crops. This indicated different sowing seed numbers tended to have the same influences on yields both in the spring and fall crops. |
