中文摘要 | 此中,有關此幅〈僧伽梨素畫圖相〉的「全面性」與「整體性」析釋闡述,擬作一研究方法上的提示與略述。 此幅鐫勒於造像佛身上的〈僧伽梨素畫圖相〉,正如前述歐、美前學們的雜沓紛岐之說,確實是一幅頗為不易、且又複雜難解的變現圖式景相。若從此尊佛身上所刻繪的僧伽梨素畫圖面來看,其問題正在於圖相上繁複龐雜的圖式組合與其有機結構的這一原點上,而此正可從由上而下的多重區劃間格,以及間格上各種繁富多變的圖像運作表現中窺得;再者,其素畫上難解的圖式構成基礎,更可從佛身中央的上下平行雙線,以及雙線上各種刻意凸顯的圖像連鎖意旨中窺知。換言之,此中全體組合上的複雜「圖式構成」,正是此幅僧伽梨素畫圖相上,全面圖像運作的『符號結構』表現;而中軸構成上的難解「圖式基礎」,正是此尊直立人物像佛身上,整體圖像連鎖的『骨架結構』意旨。這樣地看,此尊直立人物像的佛身上,與其身上所顯的此幅僧伽梨素畫圖相,二者之間,相互同屬且共依的圖像公式演算,形成了如下的圖式。即一、「多重區劃間格」的圖像符號運作,在『素畫圖相上全面性結構』所呈顯的圖式組合構式。二、「中軸平行雙線」的圖像結構連鎖,在『素畫佛身上整體性骨架』所呈顯的圖式構成基礎。故知,此二者正是由外入內,且由內向外地對此幅僧伽梨素畫的所有圖像表現,作一內外交相並行,且相互交融的「全體性」析釋探索吧! 而且,此所有圖像的內外並行交融探索,若就前述的圖像作品的解構立場來看,即是本以圖像學的「解讀性」與「解釋性」析探,作一「圖式構成」及其「成基礎」二者互為『一體性』的連繫結構組合。而此,即是將、一前者的多重區劃間格的圖式構成符號,付予圖像解讀性的試析探索。二、後者的中軸平行雙線的圖式基礎結構,付予圖像解釋性的試讀探究。 |
英文摘要 | It is the aim ofthis paper to bring forward an attempt at analysis of the line-carved Samghati drawing on the back side of this statue. The author first analyses the complex imagery within the drawing, and numbers them according to motif, whereupon he verifies this analysis by matching these numbered motifs as a whole with corresponding material from sutras. Firstly, the author divides the entire Samghati Drawing into four fiels of imagery, that is field A, B, C, and D. By matching the "imagery" to its "sutric text", the construction of the mage as a whole in field A should be understood as consisting of three sections, read from the top downwards, as the upper, middle, and lower and side sections. I, The upper section of field A consists of "Worship by the Masses", "Two-shoulder Round Wheel", and the "Nine-track Horizontal Lipe". II, The middle section of field A conisis of "The Palace in the City", "Mountain Ranges", "Worship by the Two Mases", and "Five-track Horizontal Line". III, The lower section of field A consists of "Five-headed Dragon King", "Mountains with Flowers and Birds", "Four Mountains and Four Wheels", and "Round Wheel of the Belly circle". IV, The two side sections of field A consist of "Large and Small groups of people", "Worship by Heavenly Beings", and "Flowers, Birds, Insects and Bcasts". How then, should we understand the large pictorial surface of field A, constructed by fourteen different scenes? What kind of world does it depict? This paper puts forward a preliminary attempt at an answer to this question. |
