英文摘要 | The main aim of this study is to probe the children's conceptual development about the temperature among 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders, we gain some definite results as below: 1. Most of students can judge the low or high temperature of water, the method they took is observation by sight and touching by hand, but only few students can refer to use the instrument for measurement. 2. Students can observed the separate phenomena between different temperature of waters, such as: the vapor steaming from hot water, the condensed droplet of water scattering on the surface of cup with cold water. The higher graders can observe phenomena more detail than lower graders. 3. The ability of using thermometer to measure the temperature of water or air is promoted from 2nd to 3rd and 4th graders, 85% of 4th graders can operate the thermometer to measure temperature correctly. 4. Most of children can use the concept of high or low temperature to indicate the hot water or cold water, but they simply called high or low temperature instead of reading the numbers that appear on thermometer. |
