英文摘要 | The intrinsic kinetics for the hydrogenation reaction of dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) to dihydrodicyclopentadiene(DHDCPD) was measured in a differential liquid full reactor. The kinetics was found to be first-order in hydrogen concentration in liquid. The rate for this reaction in a trickle-bed reactor was also measured. A significant temperature rise was observed. A differential equations model was proposed to describe the trickle-bed reactor behavior for a highly exothermic reaction. The theoretical prediction on DCPD conversion and temperature profile in a trickle-bed reactor by the proposed model agreed well with the experimental data. An approximate model assuming a number of mixing cells in series was also proposed. This approximate model not only simplifies calculation but also provides accurate prediction as compared with the differential equations model. |
