英文摘要 | Owing to high growth rate of economy in Taiwan, the electricity demand of Taipower system has been increasing rapidly for the last decade. The system peak load reached 19,933 MW in 1995, 7.1% increased over the previous year, and about 30% of peak load(6021 MW) was contributed by increasing air-condition load. Because of the high growth rate (11.2%) during 1981 to 1995, this situation aggravates the gap between peak load and off-peak load, and cause the system operation inefficiency. For improving facility utilization efficiency and power reliability, Taiwan power company has implemented a variety programs of LM, including TOU rate, six kinds of Interruptible rate, Seasonal rate, Ice Storage Central air-conditioning System, Central air-conditioner Duty Cycling Control, and Cogeneration. Those programs has provided significant effect on clipping system peak load, and about 3467 MW have been reduced on summer peak in 1995. In order to obtain the customers' cooperation on LM programs, Taipower has practiced a lot of market survey to get the message of customers reflection on LM programs and do the promotion and customers education activities simultaneously. The main activities included upgrading customer service, customers' attitude survey, research and develop new techniques. The economic activities of Taiwan will keep flourishing in the near future, and TPC will face with the incessant growth of peak load, In order to balance system load and reduce system peak, it's necessary to strengthen effort on LM and expand the customers' service contents. While significant improvement have already been achieved, the potential for greater improvement in the future is evident. |
