中文摘要 | 木材強度設計值在工程應用或結構設計上是一重要的依攄,國內木結構施工日益增多,也體認了對于木材在工程應用之基本資料庫的需要性。本文係探討目前美國各種木材強度分級系統下,如何利用經標準試驗方法所測定的木材強度及彈性係數數值,透過統計程序、木材特性修正、以及實際應用所須考慮的因子作有系統的推導,最後完成了可以適用于木質結構工程的容許設計值。其中包括無缺點木材強度建立、目視分級木材系統、機械應力分級木材方法、等級內強度評估程序。透過認識國外制度化且實行已久的技術,期望能夠提國內爾後發展之借鏡。 |
英文摘要 | The data base of structural lumber design properties is an improtant re ference in the engineering or structural design application for wood framing. It has been recognized that building a data base for wood engineering applications is necessary to effeftively manage the increased wood framing construction in Taiwan. The major structural grading systems for wood, that are currently being used in the United Sataes, are introduced in this article. The procedures pertaining to conversions of the strength and modulus of elasticity values, obtained from standard tests, to other more applicable properties, based on the method such as statistical approcahes, adjustments for wood characteristic property, and end-use consideration, are demonstrated. The topics studied here include development of clear wood strength, derivation of design values for visually stress-graded system, machine stress-rated approach, and establishment of allowable properties from in-grade tests of full-size specimens. It is suggested that development of structural lumber grading system and related design properties may be achieved based on the derivative technique accepted in other countries. |
