英文摘要 | A ruby of weight 2.23g and SG 3.45 was synthesized from alumina sintered compact by the oxy-acetylene flame fusion method. The synthetic ruby includes a non-fused core of sintered compact whose amount was estimated at about 22.4wt%. On its surface, bubbles, cracks, and equi-axed crystals were observed. |
