英文摘要 | This article introduces the principle, the preparation, and the applications of gradient-index glass. The gradient-index glass is a revolutionary concept in the development of optical materials. It may reduce the aberrations, raise the resolution of optical system, or reduce the number of lenses used in the system. Its current applications, however, are restricted to the field of microlenses due to the difficulties in preparation. This article will elaborate the details of molten salt method and the sol-gel method, and the difficulties that might encounter. |
