中文摘要 | 本研究主要目的乃在於提供一種鋁基複合材料製作方法,其利用動態氧化製程, 採劇烈攪拌再配合吹氣方式使大量鋁湯和氧接觸,生成細微的氧化鋁,並隨即混入鋁湯內。 製程中並加入Ca活性元素,一方面促進氧化物生成,另一方面亦可加強鋁湯與氧化鋁間之潤 濕性,使新生成的氧化鋁均勻分佈於鋁湯內。本製程的優點為:(1)製程溫度在傳統鋁湯處理 溫度範圍內(800℃以下),製作成本低,為一效率高之新製程;(2)操作簡易,適合量產;(3) 陶瓷強化顆粒與鋁湯間的潤濕性提高,即細小的補強陶瓷粒子可均勻而緻密分佈於金屬基材 內。所製備之鋁基複合材料經OM、EPMA/SEI進行顯微結構觀察及成份分析,並以Pin-on-disk 方法進行耐磨耗測試。 |
英文摘要 | The present study relates to a method of making Al alloy /metal oxide metal matrix composites. The method involves injection of air bubbles to molten Al melt and vigorous agitation of the melt under oxygen-containing atmosphere, followed by degassing of the melt and casting them into a permanent mould. Alternately, additions of active elements, such as Ca, can be incorporated in the process to assist the formation of oxides under ambient atmosphere and the mixing of the oxides into the molten alloy. The formation of the oxides dispersed in the MMCs is the prime concerns in this process. The morphologies of the oxides formed in this process were examined by OM and EPMA / SEI. The effects of processing temperature and time, and the Ca content on the amount of oxide formed and on the wear resistance of the MMCs were also investigated. |
