英文摘要 | The most attractive features of fluorescence detection include its in- herent sensitivity and selectivity. A major limitation to the application of fluorescence detection in forensic science is that only a limited number of forensic analytes exhibiting sufficiently intense fluorescence. This can be overcome by the use of fluorescence derivatization reagents to convert nonfluorescent compounds into highly fluorescent derivatives. Although various reactions have been developed for the preparation of fluorescent derivatives, the replacement reaction of active hydrogens such as those in OH, SH, or NH2 groups accounts for a large portion. Because a number of forensically interesting analytes capable of fluorescence derivatization, such as drugs and explosives, are primary amines and secondary amines, this review concentrates on the fluorescent labelling reagents that react with both primary and secondary amines. fourteen fluorescence derivatization reagents are reviewed in this work. Among these reagents, dansyl chloride (DNS-Cl) and 9-fluorenylmethyl chloroformate (FMOC) are considered to be the best reagents for the fluorescence derivatization of forensically interesting amines. Both of them are able to derivatize primary and secondary amines under smooth reaction conditions and give low detection limits. |
