中文摘要 | 就水下未知目標物的探測而言,目標強度( Target Strength )和反向散射截面 積( Backscattering Cross Section )是其中很重要的二項物理量,這二個物理量決定了 目標散物的尺寸大小,也就是說決定這二個物理量決定了目標散射物的尺寸大小,也就是說 決定這二個物理量後,我們也就掌握了目標散射物的基本散射特性。 本文主要分為基本理論公式推導、實驗儀器架設、實驗數據分析計算等部分,重點為散射現 象的實驗觀察。我們用簡單的聲學儀器模擬聲納系統,於實驗水槽中量測單一圓單體魚的反 向散射截面積和目標強度,並嘗試以此為基礎進一步量取多目標物的散射強度和預估此目標 物的數量。 實驗結果和 Love、Clay、McCartney、等人的結果比較得知圓球散射目標強度量測的準確性 最高,誤差都在 0.5dB 內,單體魚的誤差稍大,約在 1dB 左右,至於多目標物數量的預估 方面,誤差約是百分之二十一。文後並討論、列出誤差之主要成因及提出改進之可行方法。 |
英文摘要 | In the study of scattering from a target in underwater acoustics, target strength and backscattering cross section are two important quantities to identify the property of the target. In the present study, target strength of underwater objects are studied. The basic formula and derivation are mentioned, and, the major portion in the present study is the measurement of target strength of underwater objects. The objects in the study are a single iron ball, a fish, and multiple iron balls. The purpose in studying multiple iron balls is to measure the target strength of multiple objects as well as to estimate the quantity of objects. Experiment results are compared with the results done by Love, Clay, and McCartney. In the measurement of target strength of a iron ball the difference is within 0.5db. In the measurement of a single fish, the difference is about 1db. In the measurement of estimation of quantity of multiple iron balls, the error is about twenty-one percent. Discussion has been done to point out the possible cause of errors and future work. |
