中文摘要 | 96頭50±5kg體重之三品種雜交女豬和閹公豬分成四個處理分別餵飼0、5.0、10, 及 20ppm ractopamine 之含有 16 %粗蛋白的日糧。 所有肥育期飼料以任飼方式供飼至體 重到達 95kg 止,屠前停飼,飼養後測定活體重,增重速率,飼料攝取量,最終體重,並運 送至臺灣農畜產公司屠宰同時測量屠宰體重、溫屠體重、腎周圍脂肪重、屠體長和背脂厚度 、腰眼面積(第 10 肋)以及屠體品質特性。 結果發現飼餵含 5ppm 之 ractopamine 的豬隻與對照組在飼料效率方面沒有顯著差異, 而 飼餵含較高添加量( 10 及 20ppm )之 ractopamine 者與對照組有顯著差異。在達出售體 重時的飼料效率除加 10 及 20ppm ractopamine 組分別比對照組高出 4.9 %至 13.4 %, 結果也顯示出較高劑量組每日飼料攝取量降低 10 %至 11.76 %。 屠宰重量屠體重和屠宰 率各組間沒有差異。無論如何,屠體長度、背脂厚度在對照組,低劑量( 0.5ppm )與高劑 量豬隻屠體重有顯著差異。較高劑量飼餵之豬隻屠體腎周圍脂肪比對照組低 8.0-13.8 %, 而背脂厚度則減低 9.1 至 10.4 %。腰眼面積以 10ppm ractopamine 飼餵豬隻屠體最高, 對照組最低。 總之,飼餵添加 ractopamine 之豬隻可增進屠體肌肉沉積,同時降低脂肪的 沉積。 10ppm 和 20ppm 劑量之 ractopamine 增加精肉量為 3.4 %。而屠宰率並不受添加 ractopamine 的影響。 |
英文摘要 | Ninety six crossbred gilts and barrows with 50±5kg weight were alloted to the four treatment which the tested animals were fed the rations containing 16% crude protein and incorporated with ractopamine (a phenethanolanime beta-adrenergic agent activity) at levels of 0, 5.0, 10.0 and 20.0 ppm. All finisher feeds were fed according to ad libitum and withdrawn preslaughter when the average pen weight reached to 95Kg. After feeding trial all the pigs live weight, body weight gain, feed intake, finished weight, slaughter weight, hot carcass weight, perirenal fat weight, carcass length and back fat thickness, loin eye area at 10th rib, and overall carcass quality traits were also determined. The result was found that there was no significant difference in feed efficiency between the control and the pigs fed 5ppm ractopamine but significant difference between the control and fed higher levels of ractopamine. It also revealed the feed efficiency at market weight for pigs fed rectopamine was 4.9% to 13.4% greater than comparable values for the control. The results also showed the pigs fed higher doses of ractopamine caused the daily feed intake reduced 10% to 11.76%. There was no significant difference in slaughter weight, carcass weight, and carcass dressing percentage among the control and treatments. However, there was significant difference in carcass length and back fat thickness between the lower levels (0 and 5 ppm) and higher levels. Perirental fat weight of pigs fed higher doses of ractopamine were found 8.0% to 13.8% lower than those of the control. The back fat thickness was reduced 9.1% to 10.4% for the pigs fed higher level of ractopamine. Loin eye area was found the highest value in the pigs fed 10ppm ractopamine and the lowest in the control. The administration of dramatically improved carcass muscle deposition and concomitantly reduced fat deposition. Lean meat content was increased 3.4% for the pigs fed 10ppm and 20ppm of ractopamine. The carcass dressing percentage was not affected by ractopamine. |
