英文摘要 | Tso's Commentary encompasses copious historical facts and contains numerous concrete wisdom of life. "Whenever you collect gold from the sand, you often can find the treasures." The author of Tso's Commentary understands the solemn meaning of human life from the record and description of facts about success or failure, establishing or declining in the track of history. No doubt, in the long history, the author Zuo, Qiu-ming realized the meaning of historical moral through his long-time observation--it is the deepest sense of mission and responsibility as a historiographer. What is the meaning of life? What is the value of life? How should we enjoy our life? How to explain the development of human society? Tso's Commentary offers a clear and definite direction. Duke Liu, Kang of Lu analyzed that since our "birth," we have had "life." Defining the meaning of life depends on "the regulation of action, courtesy, and majesty." Manifesting the value of life is based on concrete action, courtesy, and majesty. Happiness and wealth of life comes from "the regulation of action, courtesy, and majesty." The author of Tso's Commentary mentioned the moderate rational concept of "Yangfu" through the long time observation of casualty from the history and society when narrating the historical facts during Chuin-qiu period. The development of history and the progress of human civilization are the achievements of the poisive person by "the regulation of action, courtesy, and majesty." They devoted themselves to "Yangfu." It is rewarding to learn from it and to cherish it from the Tso's Commentary. |
