| 中文摘要 | 有線電視網路的蓬勃發展,使得網路品質的要求日益趨提高;因此利用光網路取代傳 統同軸幹纜的情況也日益普遍。而光纖傳送類比視訊的設備-光調幅收發訊機對所傳送的視訊 品質分演著關鍵性的角色。為配合本公司經營光纖有線電視電路出租業務,線路技術研究於84 年初即開始進行總公司及北、中、南區分公司採購光調幅收發訊機之樣機測試評估,同時並受 理廠商對此項設備之委測案。光調幅收發訊機依其傳送光波長與光功率可分為1310nm高功率、 1310nm低功率、1550nm高功率和1550nm低功率等四種不同類型;而由調變方式可分為直調 式與外調式。不同架構的光纖網路必需配置適當類型與特性的光調幅收發訊機,以達到其需求 之視訊品質。我們機光調幅收發訊機的待測品質參數設計量測的流程和架構,並依據量測的結 果決定光調幅收發訊機的傳送品質。本文將整個測試的方法、流程及心得做一整理,敘述光調 幅收發訊機待測參數、量測流程及量測系統架構和方法;以期給相關單位做參考之用。 |
| 英文摘要 | Recently, CATV service has been developed rapidly in Taiwan. Because of cable TV legislation and customers' strong demand, the quality of the video delivery becomes very important. The optical fiber networks can provide high reliability and quality. Therefore, the traditional coaxial trunks are replaced by the optical fiber trunks in many CATV systems. Optical AM transmitters and receivers, very important equipment in the optical fiber network, play key roles to the quality of the video delivery. To support our company for running optical CATV delivery business, Outside Plant Lab. started to provide the performance testing service for optical AM transmitters and receivers from 1995. We can also provide this service for any other companies which need to verify the performance of their optical AM equipment. By the optical wavelength and power, we can classify the optical AM transmitters and revivers into 1310nm high-power type, 1310nm low-power type, 1550nm high-power type and 1550nm low-power type. To achieve the optimal performance, the different type equipment should be properly applied on different architecture optical networks. We design the testing architecture and procedure for quality parameter's measurement. The result of the parameter's measurement will decide the delivery quality of the optical AM transmitters and receivers. This paper summarizes the measurement method and results, and describes the quality parameters, the measurement procedure and the measurement architecture. We hope this paper can provide a basic reference for anyone needed. |
