英文摘要 | The advances in communications technology has provided a new avenue for developing instructional tools in distance education. This is due to the nature of communication network; i.e., providing interconnections without the limit of time or space. Before communications technology can be utilized in distance education, participants must first of all become users of communications networks. In this paper, we describe a method to conduct communications technology education in the context of distance education while gaining feedbacks and experience to improve our instructional approach and environment. Our method has drawn the structure of a self-contained curriculum for distance communications technology education. Our goal is to apply communications technology to distanced communications technology education while at the same time stimulating the development and market of communications technology. Our long-term goal would be to apply our approach to other curriculum in distance education. |
