中文摘要 | 坊間日益流行的圖解化電腦資訊書籍,引起筆者對於其人容設計和輔助成人記憶、 理解效用的好奇。本研究目的,除了深入評估其圖解內容,並且假設成人讀者先備知識和興 趣會造成對於即刻回憶和理解圖解內容中文和圖片成績的差異。一本電腦多媒體圖解書籍被 選為實驗素材,從研究實驗的結果,發現受試者對多媒體的興趣會造成文字回想成績的顯著 性差異和對圖解書籍之興趣會造成回想插圖內容的顯著差異。另外受試者的回饋,提供了對 圖解內容更深的描述。然而樣本人數較少,研究結果尚缺少代表性。後續研究可發展更具有 輔助學習效用的圖解電腦資訊教科書,以輔助空大學生的學習。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study is to explore how illustrated text affects adult readers on retention and comprehension about computer multimedia. Thirty adult readers participated in an experiment, reading a published illustrated book entitled "How multimedia works". It was found that the readers' favorable attitudes toward multimedia and pictures significantly produce differences in retention of text between the high-and low-favorable groups. However, the readers who are not in favor of the illustrated text outperform in recalling the pictorial information than who are favorable. The results of the study provide the better understandings of how knowledge about computer technologies can be designed into the illustrated text for learning and in whoat way the illustrated text may improve adults' cognition. |
