英文摘要 | In the past, most of the researches on the acoustic performance of a muffler by boundary element method have used the low order elements. In present study, to reduce the computational effort, a high order element defined by B-spline curve function has been used in dividing the boundary surface. The acoustic transmission loss, estimated by the four poles transfer matrix, is chosen as a parameter to represent the performance of a muffler. In order to examine the accuracy of the present method, some mufflers of various type have been analyzed and the computational results are compared with the experimental measurements. Finally, a frequency interpolation method is introduced in the frequency spectrum analysis and is proved to work well. |
