中文摘要 | 本研究針對單一方向纖維強化複合材料(unidirectional fiber reinforced composites )進行破壞分析的研究,提出一個不受纖維方向影響的破壞判準。 首先分析裂 縫初始成長時的破壞,從裂縫尖端位移增長的觀點,觀察複合材料在纖維排列角度不同時的 破壞現象。歸納分析的結果,發展出簡便的破壞判準及分析流程,適用不同纖維方向的破壞 分析。 本文另外提出一個利用有限元素法模擬破壞實驗的程序,經過分析,以少量的實驗求得判準 中的破壞指標。文中並透過一些與實驗相互比對的分析結果,驗證所提破壞判準的預測能力 。最後並將此不受纖維方向影響的破壞判準應用於預測試片任意角度在裂縫初始成長時的破 壞外力以及大型結構物的破壞分析。 |
英文摘要 | This paper proposes a fiber-orientation independent criterion for analyzing fracture behaviors of unidirectional fiber reinforced composites. The study began by observing fracture phenomena of composite materials based upon the viewpoint that crack extension is governed by the growth of crack tip openning displacement. Deduced from these results, a convenient fracture criterion and analysis procedure are presented, which are shown to be appropriate for the prediction of fracture behaviors of composites with different fiber orientations. This article also suggests an inverse procedure to characterize the material parameters in the criterion from finite element analyses of some basic experiments. Verifications of the proposed criterion and its predictability are performed by comparing finite element solutions with experimental results from literatures. At the end, the criterion is also used to estimate the fracture load during the early stage of crack extension and to the fracture analysis of a large structure. |
