英文摘要 | The concept of extending the component synthesis technique, Modal Force Technique (MFT). to the area of structural modification is introduced. Through the formulation of the synthesized system equation called the Modal Force equation in Laplace domain, the relationship between the desired system modes, the required modification matrix and the transfer function of the original structure can be explicitly pictured without matrix inversion. By taking these advantages, the structural modification algorithms for shifting the natural frequencies of a structure to the desired values and damping the magnitude of existing natural frequencies by adding modification matrix at certain locations are then ivestigated. Numerical results indicate that the Modal Force Technique is also effective for system dynamic modification. |
