中文摘要 | 本報告描述31組每組2位學生使用「琵鷺傳奇」電腦軟體過程中出現語言反應的分 析結果。 受試學生是來動物園戶外教學的臺北市 16 所國小的四年級學生, 錄音期間自 1994 年 12 月至 1995 年 1 月上旬。學生的語言反應是以預藏在電腦桌下的錄音裝置收集 。 研究者發現平均一組學童出現 109.7 次的語言反應, 其中「針對軟體內容」的反應有 68.8 次,較「非針對軟體內容」的反應為多; 「針對軟體內容」的反應中,詮釋性的反應 都較情緒及評鑑性反應的次數及百分比多。使學童產生反應的來源依次為畫面文字、圖片、 學生的舊有經驗、電腦語音、前測問卷及電腦配樂。研究者也發現能夠刺激學生反應的畫面 很多,其中以黑面琵鷺的形態、分布及數量、危機等三大議題等 11 個畫面引發學生的語言 反應最多。本文也詳細說明研究方法,希望日後能用在其他的教學軟體及其他使用者的評量 上。 |
英文摘要 | This paper analyses the oral responses of students who were using the computer software, "Mysteries of Spoonbills", at Taipei Zoo Educational Center while attending one day outdoor education program. From December of 1994 to January of 1995, oral responses from 31 groups (2 students/group) offourth-grade from 16 primary schools in the Taipei district were collected by tape recorder and about an hour in length each. A series of oral behavior categories were defined first to classify these oral responses and to quantify the percentage of each response category. All the responses directed to the same display were studied by qualitative approach. In addition to explore which part of software stimulated learners' responds most, the researcher also examined how theconservation messages addressed by the software designer were delivered to the students. The results show that each student group expressed 109.7 reaction on average. In which, 68.8 reactions were directed to the content of the software. Among them, interpretative reaction occupied most, emotional and evaluation reaction were lesser. The majority of stimuli came from topic words, photographs appeared on the monitor display, and from their personal experiences. Few stimuli were related with the narration, music and pretest questionnaires. This research also found that the students paid more attention toward eleven displays among the total of sixty displays. The content of these displays were focus on the morphology, distribution and population size, and the risks of survial of the species. This paper also fully discussed the process of categorizing qualitative data and the potential of using these analytic method in evaluating other ssiftwares and their users. |
