中文摘要 | 宋明儒學與禪學之間,一直存在著同異、承襲等思想史和哲學上的問題,「陽儒陰佛」,便是一個常被提出的看法,陽明心學與禪學關係更是常受爭議的顯例。陽明心學與禪學的關係,之所以會有這麼分歧的看法,除了學者在討論問題時的立場、角度不同外,兩者必然存在著實質上的共同點與相異點,而其共同點與相異點何在,可分很多層面而,「體用」觀就是其中之一。 陽明心學與禪學在「體用」上的關係,雖然皆為「即體即用」的模式,但陽明心學與禪學在「體」之內涵與「用」之發動上則有別。因此,如果要說陽明心學與禪學有關,僅能說陽明心學只在形式與禪學相符,但其「體」、「用」之內涵則大異。 |
英文摘要 | Points from historical and philosophical points of view, there have always been problems concerning the similarity and difference between Yangming's theory of the mind and Zen Buddhism. “Explicitly Confucianism and implicitly Buddhism” is a frequent topic of discussion, and the guestion of relation between Yangming's theory of the mind and Zen Buddhism is more controversial than over. The difference in the angles of approach of scholors when entering the deate is on cause of the diversity of views. On the other hand, there must be substantial distinction and similarity between the two. This can be investigated from different levels, and “theory and practice” is one of them. Both maintain the spontaneous relation between theory and practice concerning the content of “theory” and the genesis of “practice,” they have different views. If there is a relation between Yangming's theory of the mind and Zen Buddhism, it can only be on a formal level, the content of the two concepts are different. |
