英文摘要 | The moment-distribution method was applied wildly in analyzing frame structures until the development of electronic digital computers. Since then various matrix formulations of structural analysis have been proposed. In this paper we propose the method of re-distribution matrix, which relates the displacements components of all structural members connected at a joint to those at far end of the same members by a carrying-over-distribution matrix, and to those generated by the external forces in terms of a source vector. The far field displacements vector is then eliminated by finding the global phase matrix which relates the displacements at both ends of all members. The product of the global carrying-over-distribution matrix and global phase matrix is called as the re-distribution matrix. Application of this method is illustrated by two examples, the determination of secondary stress in a plane truss and the calculation of moments in all members of a simple rigid frame. The results of the later are shown to be the same as those calculated by the method of moment-distribution. |
