中文摘要 | 本研究為國科會補助之「科技教育在小學之教學活動設計研究」之延續,主要在探討並了解國小五年級學生模型製作的表現。研究對象為屏東師範學院附屬實驗小學82學年度五年級的四班學生,計有44組共176人參與。研究進行主要藉由前述研究中之實驗教學最後階段的「停車場模型設計比賽」來完成;而該實驗教學活動則是透過兩種不同型態的教具及指導策略,讓學生在美勞課中以分組方式,自行設計製作完成一個停車場模型。而設計比賽時教師之平均給分即為學生之「模型製作表現」分數,除藉此了解國小五年級學生在模型製作上的整體表現情形外,並進而探討教具類型、班級導師性別、學生性別以及其學業成績等因素,對學生在模型製作表現上的影響。「模型製作表現」則分別自「動態設計與規畫」、「靜態設計與規劃」以及「製作技巧」等三項表現來評分。 本研究資料經統計分析後,有以下重要發現與結論: 1.就得分平均數而言,國小五年級學童的模型製作表現表現平平,並無太特殊之處,至少自其班導師與美勞科教師眼中看來是如此。 2.學生在三項模型製作表現間,有極高的正相關。 3.採用模型為教具的班級表現,較採用影片為教具的班級表現來得好。顯見對五年級學童而言,在立體模型的製作上還是需要有模擬的對象;而多少也反應出在國小階段對於空間觀念及尺寸間關係的建立,似有不足之處。 4.班級導師的性別並不影響學生的模型製作表現. 5.男女生混合之綜合組的平均表現,不如組員為單一性別的男生或女生組,但此一差異經統計檢驗而知,可能係因採用不同教具類型所致。 6.學生在模型製作三項表現除與國語科成績均無顯著相關外,與其他科目均有正相關,其中以與美勞成績的相關程度最高,其次為數學及自然兩科。 最後吾人建議儘速結合國小教師與科技教育專長教師或學者之力,針對國小環境,規畫其適用的、整合各科教學的科技教學活動,並納入各科教學中。 |
英文摘要 | This study was a continuous research based on the "A study of teacher's perspectives toward the classroom activities related to technology education," funded by the National Science Council in 1993.The purpose of this study was to understand the fifth grader's performance of building a model as they finished constructing a model of parking lot with team effort. Subjects for this study were 176 fifth graders from the Affiliated Elementary School of the National Pingtung Teacher's College in the second semester of 1993. The model construction performance were defined in three aspects,i.e., dynamic design, layout design, as well as making skills. The data were coltected at "the design competition for building a parking lot model," as the result of the previous study. The findings from this study were profound' 1.On the average, the fifth grade's performances on model building appeared to be just above even, and the pupils have not shown skillfully in building a model. 2.The three aspects of the performance on model building measured were highly related to each other. 3.Students in the "model group," in which the teaching aid ,'as a model, have better performance than those in the "film group." 4.Gender of classroom teacher was not the major factor related to the grade's performances on model building. 5.The students in mixed groups, in which male and female students worked together, seemed to have poorer performance on model building than those in either male or female groups. And in a further analysis, it showed that the teaching aid used in the classroom might be the factor toward this finding. 6.Student's major academic performances have not shown any effects related to on their performances on model building. The researcher recommended that efforts from both school teachers and technological teachers should be put together to accelerate the design process for appropriate course material as the needs for implementing technology education in the elementary schools increasing on a daily basis. |
