英文摘要 | To produce the desired cutter path in multi-axis surface machining process, an effective CNC interpolator is needed. This paper presents a CNC interpolator with an additional algorithm that focuses on compensating for the surface error due to the imperfect motion control of the feed drives. In the proposed CNC scheme, the output positions of the feed drives are fed back to the interpolator for on-line compensation. The cutter-path generation and compensation algorithms for the 3-axis and the 5-axis surface machining are developed, respectively. |
