英文摘要 | The mobility of paraquat in the films of clay minerals was studied with the techniques of electroanalytic chemistry. The results indicated that the order of peak current of cathod (i □ ) determined by the clay modified electrodes was as follows: vermiculite > ferruginous smectite > illite > montmorillonite > bentonite > kaolinite. Amounts of cathodic peak current determined with clay modified electrode were affected by the layer charges of clay minerals. The mobility of paraquat in the films of vermiculite was more than that of montmorillonite. It was a linear relationship between slope (i □ vs. ν□ ) and i □ of all standard clay minerals modified electrodes. This fact indicated that i □ determined with clay modified electrodes were controlled by the diffusible rate of paraquat ions to the surface of electrode. The rate of paraquat diffused through the films of clays to surface of electrode was found the fastest with vermiculite, and the slowest with kaolinite. The results also indicated that the more the permanent negative charges of layer silicate minerals the more the irreversibility of cyclic voltammogram. Neverthless, the ferruginous smectite had a abundant Fe □ in the octahedral layer. The changes between Fe �� and Fe �� played a role of delivering electron, therefore the reversibility of ferruginous smectite was the largest among the 2:1 clay minerals. The variable charges of ferruginous smectite had small effects on the adsorption of paraquat. The effects of variable charges of illite on the mobility of paraquat were more than that of vermiculite. The higher the pH, the more irreversibility and mobility of paraquat through the films of illite was shown. |
