| 英文摘要 | The purpose of this study is to investigate various factors which may influence the erythrocyte Na-K ATPase (Na pump) and Na-K-Cl cotransport (CoT) mediated efflux in uremic patients on maintenance hemodialysis (HD). Cation efflux methodology was used for the measure of Na efflux. Twenty-five HD patients, 14 males and 11 females, were chosen for the study. Na pump and CoT mediated effluxes were 1253 ± 162 and 181 ± 56 μ mol/L RBC/hr before HD, respectively, and incresed to 1424 ± 179 and 181 ± 42 μ mol/L RBC/hr after HD, respectively (p< 0.001). The erythrocyte Na transports are still lower than normal contro1s after HD. Hypertensive uremic patients had significantly lower Na pump and CoT mediated Na efflux than those of normotensive patients. Types of dialysate used, ultrafiltration volume during dialysis and erythropoietin treatment do not have significant effect on erythrocyte Na efflux These results indicate that hypertensive uremic patients have significantly lower erythrocyte Na efflux. and dialysis process acutely improved erythrocyte Na transport. |
