英文摘要 | Cable is a structure which can be used in many application such as cable-stayed bridges, suspension bridges, gable frame connections,...,etc.. In this paper, the stability behavior of some spring structural models will be investigated in the context of a large deflection analysis. Four models simulate the behavior of the cables and the deck of cable-stayed bridges. There are four different geometries considered. The behavior of these models shows that the load displacement relationship is not linear even though the springs are linearly elastic. The results have been presented in graphical form. In order to make the results useful, the applied loads and the displacements have been nondimensionalized. |
