中文摘要 | 本研究要依據IGBT之導通電流與飽和電壓等工作特性,提出一種無電 流感測元件之保護電路。此電路除可提供IGBT良好的驅動功能外,並可自動偵 測過電流現象,進而保護IGRT本身。本電路設計之特色有三:(1)元件數量少,可 容易做為功率積體電路。(2)線路不需外加電流感測元件,可減少製作成本。(3) 可藉由改變微調電阻值,即可適用於不同之IGRT元件,而使此電路更具實用價 值。本文同時進行相關之電腦模擬、電路實作及量測,其結果均顯示此電路可正 確有效地驅動IGBT,而且在過載或是短路的狀況下,亦能夠適切地做出保護動 作。 |
英文摘要 | The Insulated-gate-bipolar transistor ( IGBT ) combine the best qualities of both BJT andpower MOSFET devices. The high swithing speed, high blocking volage capability, simple gatedrive circuits, and ease of protection make IGBTs more attractive than BJTs in the medium and highpower levels applications. Recently, IGBTs are widely used in many industry applications, such asmoter drives, UPS systems, and power supplies. This research proposed an Intelligent drive circuitsfor IGBTs which include the gate drive circuit, gate over voltage protection circuit, over currentprotection circuit. There are three traits in the designed circuit : (1) The numbers of device arefew, thus it is easy to integrate all components in one chip to make a Power IC. (2) It is not necessary to install any current sensor. (3) It can be applied to different type of "IGBTs" via varistor.The computer simulations and test results show that the Intelligent gate drive circuits allow IGBTsto be turned on and turned off within a sufficiently short time, and the over current protectioncircuits act when the current exceed the capabilities of IGBTs. |
