中文摘要 | 應用波帶片之色散性,以一維波帶片與單狹縫的組合,進行單色光的選取,探討其作為可變波段濾色系統的可行性。實驗中,採用軸土、中心遮蔽和離軸三種不同的裝置,經由白色平行光及氦氛雷射的成像,對波帶片的特性有了更深的了解。利用波長可調的Rh590染料雷射入射於濾色系統,並以偵測器測得出射光之強度與波長的對應關係,可獲得濾色系統的波帶寬。實驗結果顯示狹縫寬度在100-200um之範園時,波帶寬與狹縫寬成正比。實驗的主要誤差是軸上裝置時存在未繞射項,及在離軸裝置時聚焦方向與光軸夾角sin-1( X/F)。建議使用靈敏度較佳的偵測器並將波帶片的穿透函數改為中央條紋為不透光者。另外,若能改用 profiled 波帶片,則可顯著地提高波帶片本身的效率,進而對此濾色系統作更適切的分析與研究。 |
英文摘要 | To explore the feasibility of a variable bandpass filter, a zone plate - single slit combination has been investigated. A zone plate has its dispersively focusing characteristics, and a single slit has spatial filtering effect. Thus the zone plate-single slit combination should have the capability of a variable wavelength, as well as bandpass filter, by varying the zone plate to single slit distance and the slit width. The filtering system is analyzed by three arrangements: in-axis, central stop and off -axis. Meanwhile, the properties of zone plates are confirmed through images formed by the white collimated light and He-Ne laser. Moreover, a N2 Jaser pumped Rh590 dye laser has also been used as a variable wavelength light source. The results of the experiment indicate that when the slit width ranges between 100 to 200 um, the relationship between the spectrum bandwidth and the slit width is direct proportion but deviates from the theoretical expectation. The principal error arises from the dc component of the in-axis arrangement and the deviation of focusing direction in the off-axis arrangement at an angle of sin-1(X./F). According to these results we would suggest to use a more sensitive detector and a zone plate which is opaque rather than clear at the central stripe, to reduce the dc component that enters the slit. Besides, a profiled zone plate can be used to raise the efficiency of images formation . A profound and sthorough study should be necessary to improve the results presented in this report. |
